When is the show? It’s on 7th June 2020 (always the first Sunday in June). The show is opened officially at 11:00 and will close at 16:00.
Where is the show? The show is at Meadow Farm Nurseries, Langley Burrell, Chippenham (SN15 4LW) and you can find full details of how to get there by clicking Here
For what charities is this event being held? Our main charities for this year will be Dorothy House and the Rise Trust, though we will also be improving our reserve for our other work – local, national and international. To find out more about what we do, visit the ‘About Us’ menu tab.
How much is it to get In? Chippenham Lions are using this show to raise funds for their charities and the gate takings are the main source of income.
- Normally the entrance is £6 for adults, children under 10 go free and you will receive a free event brochure.
- For junior performers we will allow one accompanying adult for free, but other accompanying adults must pay the standard gate price and, for this, you will receive a free event brochure.
- Cherished Vehicle owners will get in for free if you are registered (but see below). That said, you may like to help with our fundraising by buying an event brochure for £2.
Where can I buy a ticket? You can buy tickets at the gate using either cash or card.
I’ve missed the Cherished Vehicle registration deadline – can I bring my vehicle along anyway? Yes, please do. We have facilities for registering on the day and you will be placed amongst other Cherished owners. However, for this, you will be charged the normal gate entrance fee and you will receive a free event brochure.
What type of vehicle do you admit to the Cherished Vehicle part of the show? There is no speciality, age or other restriction on vehicle type and one of the features of the show is the great variety of vehicles on display.
What time should I arrive with my Cherished Vehicle? We would like all vehicles to be in place by 10:00 for the official opening at 11:00.
I have a Cherished Vehicle registered at the event, will there be a record of this for me to collect? Yes, there will be a list of vehicles on show in the event brochure.
How suitable is this event for disabled persons? Disabilities vary greatly, but the event is held on flat level grazing fields which will have been mowed a few days before and we will have a disability loo.
Can I bring my dog along? Yes, but it must be on a lead at all times (there are sheep in the locality) and owners must scoop the poop.
And finally – What’s the parking like? There is ample free parking space available in the fields of Meadow Farm Nurseries.
